WHAT IS STRESS / ANXIETY MANAGEMENT THERAPY?
Whether you are stressed, worried, confused, wanting to make changes
in your life or coping with unwanted change, it can help to talk
things over in confidence.
The stress response is a natural instinct. A small dose not only
helps your body function well, but also enables you to be creative
and efficient. However, when stress becomes too much, your body
reacts negatively, leading to health issues and disrupting normal
cognitive functioning.
In stress management therapy, we explore your coping strategies
in stressful situations. Using a variety of interventions,
we either remove the stressful situation or assist you to explore
ways to
adapt to the situation in a more relaxed way.

STRESS-RELATED CONDITIONS
Research suggests that the following health conditions may have
stress as a contributory cause or that the disorder might be complicated
by stress:

- Immunity disorder e.g. allergies or rheumatoid arthritis

As well as taking conventional or complementary medical care,
learning to manage your stress may lessen the severity
and distress of your symptoms and condition. 
HOW I TREAT STRESS
When treating stress, I offer the following treatments and self-care
strategies:

Diagnostic tests (to clarify any physical symptoms e.g. adrenal
fatigue)
- Nutritional advice and supplementation
- Reflexology
- Reiki
- Relaxation coaching
- Cognitive interventions to improve your mindset
- Behaviourial/lifestyle interventions

My clinic is based in Brighton, Sussex. My fees are £35
per hour excluding diagnostic tests. If you wish, you can pay in
advance using a debit / credit card (here). Evening and Saturday
appointments are usually available as well as daytime appointments.
If you cancel an appointment without giving twenty-four hours notice,
the full fee will be payable.
