Mindfulness is the art of the being present in the now. Directing our mind to the world or ourselves is good, but challenging as we become distracted by arising thoughts. The act of mindful writing can help us come from a place that is less caught up in irrelevant thoughts. When we are writing about the world we can see when we are doing it and when we are getting distracted – words either appear on the page, or not.

Developing a Mindful Journaling Practice is a distance learning course that will help you explore how you can deepen your journaling through mindful questioning and prompts.
