Using the power of the mind to help heal the body has both scientific
research and anecdotal history behind it. Imagery is the language
that the mind uses to communicate with the body and by harnessing
this language, a person can positively affect their wellbeing.
WHO THE COURSE IS FOR
For entry onto Imagery for Health, you need to
be a qualified complementary or conventional healthcare practitioner.
This workshop carried 10+ CPD points.

HOW IMAGERY FOR HEALTH IS DELIVERED
Imagery for Health is delivered via home study
which you can start at any time and take up to one year to complete.
The course can be delivered online (email) or distance (post).

back up your learning with tutorials.
- You can complete your study as quickly as you like or you can take
up to one year for each course.

 COURSE CONTENT
You will:
-
Understand the relevance of relaxation techniques to the use of
imagery
- Practice using relaxation techniques on yourself and others
- Understand the relevance of imagery in healing rituals
- Experience creating imagery for health and wellbeing
- Practice using imagery with a range of health issues

ASSESSMENT
Assessment takes the form of a series of tutor-marked assignments
sent to your tutor by e-mail or post for comment.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of
Completion from Wellness for Life.

COURSE RECOGNITION
This course has UKRLP registration and is on the
UK Register for Learning Providers.
Wellness for Life is a recognized and authorized course
provider of the Complementary
Medical Association (CMA). Imagery
for Health carries 10+ CPD points. There is also the option
of becoming a member of the CMA.

The cost of the course is £229 and includes textbook Rituals
of Healing by Jeanne Achterberg, Barbara Dossey and Leslie Kolkmeier,
learning material, relaxation CD, full tutor support, assessment
and CPD certification.
Face-to- face sessions
If you can come into Brighton, Sussex where I am based, you can
back up your learning with tutorials (£25 per hour or £99
