ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR THE CERTIFICATE IN
STRESS MANAGEMENT
The Certificate in Stress Management is an accredited course
delivered via distance learning and is suitable for healthcare
professionals, wellbeing coaches, complementary therapists, nurses
and anyone whose work employs helping skills.
Please note this course doesn’t provide any supervised
skills development. It is a theoretical course designed to provide
underpinning knowledge of stress management approaches which can
be incorporated into practice by experienced professionals (and
for CPD points) or can be used as a solid foundation for further
training.

COURSE ACCREDITATION
The Certificate in Stress Management will provide you with a professional
qualification and is independently accredited by the National Council
of Psychotherapists (NCP) at Affiliate level. Following successful
completion of this course, you will be eligible for membership
of the NCP and can be entered onto their register.
The NCP is one of the longest established and prestigious societies
of its type in the UK, being formed in 1971. Visit their website

COURSE RECOGNITION
This course has UKRLP registration and is on the UK Register
for Learning Providers.

HOW THE CERTIFICATE IN STRESS MANAGEMENT IS
DELIVERED
The Certificate is delivered via home study which you can start
at any time and take up to one year to complete. The course can

ASSESSMENT
Assessment takes the form of a series of tutor-marked assignments
sent to your tutor by e-mail or post for comment.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of
Completion from Wellness for Life.

FEE
The fee of £599 includes:
- A professional qualification in Stress Management accredited
with the National Council of Psychotherapists to Affiliate level
(ANCP would go after your name)
- An experienced tutor who is a working stress management therapist
- Learning material including textbook and CD
- Over 100 hours of supported open learning
